1. Purpose and scope
These terms apply to anyone who teaches on Hadharli, in addition to the Terms of Use and the Terms of Sale. They distinguish:
- the marketplace teacher: a profile verified and approved by TunEdu, publicly listed, bookable by students and paid in points; TunEdu takes a commission;
- the independent teacher: uses Hadharli as a private classroom with their own students, without a public listing, with a paid plan; their lessons are not paid in points on Hadharli;
- the centre teacher: teaches in the classes of a centre that invited them; their relationship with the centre, including pay, does not involve TunEdu.
The same teacher can be in several of these situations.
2. Application and verification
- To be listed on the marketplace, you submit an application: identity, contact details, diplomas, experience, subjects, levels, rate, availability, and at least one supporting document (ID card or passport, or diploma; PDF, JPG, PNG or WebP, 20 MB max).
- You confirm this information is accurate. Any false statement leads to the rejection or suspension of the profile.
- The TunEdu team reviews the application, usually within two working days, and may offer you a short call. It approves it, asks for changes or rejects it, with a note. [Criteria and grounds for rejection: to be specified.]
- Supporting documents are kept in a private space that only the verification team can open, and never appear on your profile.
- An independent teacher can open a private classroom without this verification; their profile is then not public.
3. Independent status
You work fully independently. These terms create no employment contract, mandate, partnership or agency between you and TunEdu. You freely set your rates, availability and methods, and you are free to accept or decline a booking. You alone are responsible for the teaching content, your declarations and compliance with the rules that apply to your activity, including any incompatibilities (for example for public-school teachers) [to be confirmed by the lawyer].
4. Prices
- You set the price of your one-to-one lessons, group classes and courses. Prices are shown to students in points (1 point = 1 TND).
- The hourly rate given in the application is between 5 and 500 TND; a course costs from 0 (free) to 1,000 points, in whole points.
- A price change on an already published course applies after the team approves it; students always pay the price shown when they buy.
- The student is charged when booking or buying; your share is only credited once the lesson is completed or the course is bought (section 5).
5. Pay and commission
- For every one-to-one lesson, group class or course sale paid in points, you receive 70% of the points the student spent, converted into dinars (1 point = 1 TND). TunEdu keeps a 30% commission.
- It is calculated per lesson or per sale: your share is rounded down to the dinar and the difference goes to the commission. Example: a 45-point lesson earns you 31 TND (45 × 70% = 31.5) and 14 TND of commission.
- Your share is credited to your earnings wallet when you mark the lesson as completed (for a group class, on the total of the paid seats), or as soon as a course is bought.
- No commission is taken on private-classroom or centre lessons, which are not paid in points on Hadharli.
- Earnings credited before the 30% rate took effect are not recalculated.
6. Earnings wallet
- Your earnings are held in a wallet in dinars, separate from your points, with a detailed history of every transaction (lesson, course sale, refund, payout).
- The available amount can be requested as a payout; the requested amount is put on hold until it is paid or rejected.
- Points you buy or receive as a gift are not earnings and cannot be withdrawn.
- If a purchase of one of your courses is refunded, your share is taken back from your wallet, which may temporarily go negative; a negative balance is offset against your next earnings.
7. Payouts
- You register a payout method in your name: bank account (valid 20-digit RIB, IBAN) or D17 number.
- You can request a payout from 50 TND, up to your available balance. Only one request can be in progress at a time; you can cancel it until it is paid.
- The TunEdu team reviews the request, then pays it or rejects it with a reason. The indicative time is 3 working days [contractual period to be confirmed].
- Any receiving fees (bank, D17) are paid by [to be completed].
- Before deleting your account, request a payout of your available earnings.
8. Cancellations, absences and disputes
- A booking you decline or cancel, or a class you cancel, is fully refunded in points to the students, who are notified automatically; you receive nothing.
- Cancel as early as possible. Repeated or late cancellations may lead to the suspension of your profile.
- Only mark a lesson as completed if it really took place, and only report an absence if the student did not show up. Attendance data from the video room may be used to check in case of dispute.
- A lesson marked as “absent” earns you nothing and is not automatically refunded to the student [policy to be confirmed].
- In case of dispute, TunEdu may cancel a booking and refund the student, or take back from your wallet an amount credited in error [to be confirmed].
9. Courses you sell
- You create your courses (videos, PDFs, texts, quizzes). Each course, and each new lesson of a published course, is reviewed by the team before publication. Changes to already approved content are logged, and a replaced file must be approved again.
- The split is the same as for lessons: 70% for you, 30% for TunEdu, credited when the course is bought.
- The team may refund a purchase (your share is then taken back), unpublish a course or remove it in case of unlawful or unsafe content.
- Students who bought a course keep it for life, even if you unpublish it; a course that has been bought cannot be deleted.
- You can share a course with a centre you belong to: its students access it for free while the sharing is active, with no pay from TunEdu.
10. Private classroom and plans
- An independent teacher gets a 14-day free trial (Pro plan features), then chooses a yearly plan (Starter, Pro, Unlimited) on the conditions of the Terms of Sale, including launch prices valid until 31 December 2026.
- Each plan’s limits (number of students, live hours per month, recordings) apply automatically.
- When the plan ends and after a 3-day grace period, the classroom becomes read-only until renewal.
- Payments between you and your private-classroom students take place outside Hadharli, under your sole responsibility; TunEdu is not a party to them and takes no commission on them.
- A teacher approved on the marketplace does not need a plan for their private classroom.
11. Content, recordings and licence
- You keep the rights to your courses, materials and recordings. You grant TunEdu a non-exclusive, free licence, for as long as they are on the Platform and, for a purchased course, for as long as buyers have access, to host, reproduce, technically adapt and deliver them to the users concerned, and to present your profile and courses (title, cover, excerpts) on the Platform [use in off-Platform promotion: to be confirmed].
- You confirm you hold all rights to the content you use (texts, images, exercises, textbook excerpts) and do not infringe anyone’s rights.
- Recordings: only you can start a recording. A banner tells participants. You only publish suitable recordings, and you only reuse a recording in a course if the students who appear in it (or their parents) have consented [to be confirmed by the lawyer].
- Recordings of a centre’s lessons belong to the centre’s space.
12. Commitments and conduct
In particular, you agree to:
- be on time and hold the lessons you accepted;
- behave impeccably with students, especially minors: no inappropriate remarks or content, no requests for personal contact details, no meetings outside the intended setting without the parents’ agreement;
- not offer or accept payment outside Hadharli for a lesson booked on the Platform or with a student who found you on the marketplace, and not encourage students to leave the Platform to avoid the commission;
- keep your availability, rates and profile up to date;
- use students’ data only for your lessons and keep it confidential;
- follow the code of conduct in the Terms of Use.
13. Quality, reviews and suspension
- Students can leave a review after a completed lesson. Your profile statistics (response time, completion rate) are calculated automatically.
- After telling you the reason (unless urgent), TunEdu may hide your profile, suspend your teacher account or end it in case of a breach of these terms, repeated complaints, false information or a risk to students. [What happens to available earnings during a suspension: to be confirmed.]
- You can hide your profile from search at any time in Settings, or stop teaching after holding your confirmed lessons.
14. Tax and social security
You alone are responsible for declaring your income and paying the taxes and social contributions (for example to the CNSS) related to your activity, and for any registration you need (patente, self-employed status…). TunEdu can provide a statement of your earnings and payouts. [Possible withholding tax on payouts, invoicing of the commission and VAT: to be confirmed by the lawyer and the accountant.]
15. Changes, including the commission
- TunEdu may change these terms, in particular the commission rate, the minimum payout or the time frames. Any change that is unfavourable to you is notified at least [30] days before it takes effect [period to be confirmed], on the Platform and by email.
- A new rate applies to lessons completed and sales made after it takes effect; it never changes earnings already credited.
- If you refuse the change, you can stop teaching and request a payout of your available earnings.
16. Governing law and contact
These terms are governed by Tunisian law. In case of dispute, an amicable solution is sought first; failing that, the competent courts of Tunis have jurisdiction [to be confirmed by the lawyer].
